Based in Boston, veteran-owned and operated Blue Cord Management provides leadership development, coaching, training and consulting services. Launched in 2016, the consultancy’s mission is to transform ‘good management’ into ‘visionary leadership’.

BCM’s founder Ed Brzychcy uses strategies and techniques inspired by his military experience. He served with distinction for twelve years from 1999 to 2011 as an intelligence analyst and infantryman, achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant, and leading squads of up to a dozen soldiers during three combat deployments to Iraq.

After leaving the military, Ed earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Salem State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a major in Business Administration with an Entrepreneurship Concentration and Economics Minor. Ed was later awarded a Master of Business Administration degree and membership in the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society from Babson College where he participated in and directed consulting projects with clients including Converse Shoes and Fidelity Investments.
Ed is committed to supporting services to veterans. He works in close collaboration with local agencies to promote veterans’ entrepreneurship plans and help them succeed after leaving the military. Ed is a member of the Board of Directors of the Alumni Association of his alma mater, Salem State University and holds an Adjunct Professor position at Endicott College in Beverly, MA where he teaches classes in Business Fundamentals and Leadership.
